Purpose

We're developing a model based on the four wellbeings to help guide decision-making on forestry activities in our region. This approach ensures that forestry activities are sustained and balanced, addressing not only environmental concerns but also social, economic and cultural factors.
This survey is an opportunity for you to share your personal experiences—both positive and negative—related to forestry activities. Your feedback will help us understand how these activities affect the community across four key wellbeing areas. We will use this information to ensure that the voices of Ūawa residents are heard in future forestry planning.

Why your input matters

The survey results will help us assess the social, environmental, economic, and cultural impacts of forestry using the He Rangitipu He Tohu Ora framework, specifically tailored for our region. The insights gathered will be translated into valuations that guide future decisions.
By sharing your own experiences, you're helping shape the future of our region.
