Cyclone Gabrielle damaged the main water pipe to the city, putting us in a water crisis. We all needed to save as much water as possible as the backup system couldn't produce as much water as Waingake.
It's a reminder of how sacred clean, drinkable water is.
We had to all work together to make an effort to keep our taps running.
